Student Leadership Opportunities
Having a student leadership role, such as Prefect or part of the Student Council, can have a positive impact in helping students develop confidence, responsibility, and communication skills. It gives students a voice in school decisions, encourages teamwork, and teaches them how to lead by example. These roles also help build self-esteem and prepare students for future leadership opportunities in education and beyond.
Student leadership roles like Prefect or Student Council can help make students more employable because they show that the student is trustworthy, responsible, and capable of taking initiative. Employers look for candidates who can communicate well, solve problems, work in a team, and lead others - skills that are developed through leadership roles in school. These positions also demonstrate time management, commitment, and a proactive attitude, all of which are highly valued in the workplace. Having leadership experience on a CV helps students stand out and shows they are prepared for real-world responsibilities.
