Following our recent Ofsted inspection (section 8), I am delighted to inform you that The Lenham School has maintained the standards identified at the previous inspection as Good in every category.

What does the latest Ofsted Report say?

Ofsted quickly noticed what a kind, caring, and ambitious school we are.

Ofsted celebrated how supportive we are of children with different needs “Pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are supported effectively and access the full curriculum”

“The school’s inclusive approach supports disadvantaged pupils effectively”

Children were proud to say that Lenham helps encourage them to be the best they can be." Pupils are happy and proud to attend this school. There is a tangible sense of belonging and community. ‘The Lenham Character Compass’ underpins all aspects of school life”

Ofsted praised the quality of teaching and the level of thought that goes into our lessons. “The school has a sharply focused vision for the academic and wider success of its pupils”

They really enjoyed meeting our children, who are always such a joy to work with.

They have no concerns about the school at all and will return in four years to see that we have fulfilled our ambitions for the school and the children in our care.
