TLS Vision 2028
We were thrilled to receive our incredibly positive Ofsted Report in February 2025, as well as the Optimus Award for Outstanding Personal Development in September 2025. However, we have no intention on easing up on our ambitious plans and have already started the next phase of the school’s journey. The Lenham School 2028 is our vision for what our school community will grow into over the next three years.
Like all schools, we have bold goals to help your children fulfil their potential:
- Outstanding results above the national average
- Excellent attendance above the national average
- Exemplary teaching with Lenham acknowledged as a beacon of excellence
- A national leader in the delivery of Personal Development
- The highest quality facilities for learners
At the heart of this is the community we have built. To achieve our goals, we are focusing on the power of our community and looking to grow that sense of belonging even further through three key initiatives:
A Community of Kindness and Positive Relationships:
Taking proactive steps to treat everyone in community with warmth and understanding, no matter what the barrier. We are firm with high expectations, but with calm, dignified and respectful interactions at all times.
A Rights Respecting Community:
We must empower all of our community to be world ready and career ready. To support them on this journey, we must help prepare our learners on their rights and the rights of others. Respect is at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that every young person has the opportunities they need to succeed.
Five Houses, Five Homes:
We have removed the year group structure and introduced five Houses instead, all named after historic figures from our local community. We will embed this new structure and provide personalised continuity of care. In time, these five Houses will become five homes within our community — safe spaces that nurture academia, belonging and opportunities for all learners.
