Students at The Lenham School were celebrating an excellent set of results with 64% of students gaining a pass in both English and Mathematics a 10 point increase on the comparable figure from last year in a continuing four year rising trend.
Notable high achievers include Ria Brazil, Tyler Baldwin, Bradley Cooper, David Cronin, Elizabeth Crowhurst, Tegan Figgett, Felicity Lindo, Emily Morton, Kyle Streeter and Olivia Williams who all gained at least four grades 7 or above including an impressive number grade 9 passes.
Headteacher Mr Chris Foreman commented: ‘The results awarded today truly reflect the hard work and study demonstrated by our students throughout the 3 years of their GCSE courses. Congratulations to all our students and we wish them well with their futures.

The Lenham School is very pleased to report that students will be celebrating a strong set of level 3 Vocational and A-level results tomorrow with a 91% pass rate at Distinction*- Pass in the Vocational subjects and a 100% pass rate in A-Level qualifications. We are particularly pleased with the A-level English Literature results as 66% achieved a grade A* - B.
Notable high performers are;
Amy Carter who achieved a Distinction* in BTEC Science, Distinction in BTEC Health and Social Care at Foundation Diploma Level and a Distinction in OCR Business who is deferring university for a year.
Francesca Pearce who achieved a grade B in A-level English Literature, a Distinction* in OCR Business and a Merit in BTEC Science who will be going to CCCU to study Business Management.
Megan Hunter who achieved a B in A-level English Lit, C in A-level Art and a Distinction in Media Studies and will now be going to CCCU to study Primary Education.
Gemma Scotcher who achieved will be going to CCCU to study Criminology.
Headteacher Chris Foreman commented “After an anxious wait in uncertain times we are delighted to be celebrating with our students who were rewarded with the grades they deserve following their hard work over the last two years”.
