The Lenham School Exam Results 2023

The Lenham School is celebrating with our students as they collect GCSE and BTEC results today. Students have achieved grades that have enabled them to go onto future destinations of their choice.

Notable high performers are:

Finlay Cousins – 10 GCSEs graded 5 and above, including a grade 9 in Film Studies, grade 8s in English Literature and Science, 7s in English Language, History and Mathematics and Distinction* in BTEC Sport.

Amy Hyde – 10 GCSEs graded 5 and above, including grade 8 in Science, grade 7s in English Literature, History and Mathematics.

Daniel Acres – 9 GCSEs graded 5 and above, including grade 8s in Computer Science and Science and grade 7s in English Literature and Geography.

George Kerrison – 10 GCSEs graded 5 and above, including grade 8s for Mathematics, Science and Product Design.

Special mention to the following students who achieved a wide range of grade 6s and 7s across a wide range of subjects: Alex Dinu, Alejandra Antunes, Lily Laurenson, Lacie Warren, Jack Tucker, Poppy Hatcher, Jack Strable, Tommy Osborne, Charlotte Anderson, Lauren Pilcher, Katrina Wilkinson, Angelin Joly, Daisy Gregory, Max Kelly, Sophie Brenchley, Jack Mildner, Payton Jerrom, Darcie Fraser-Pritchard, Toby Norwood, Jasmine Mealham, Logan Luker, Bahman Dashti, Alice Sheppard, Adam Price and many more.

Headteacher Chris Foreman commented “Our students and staff have worked hard to build confidence and exam performance following the disruption to their learning caused by the pandemic. It is important to acknowledge how much they had to overcome to obtain the requisite grades to progress to their chosen destinations. This year we are celebrating the determination and achievements of our Year 13 students. The school is immensely proud of all the students who collected their results today as they embark on their next destination with 67% of the cohort going onto university.

Notable mentions go to Cailin Ball whose results included a BTEC Diploma in Health & Social Care at Distinction Level and will be going to The University of Kent to study Applied Psychology, Alyshia Russell who will be undertaking a Degree in Special Educational Needs and Inclusion at Canterbury Christchurch, Hayley Bullen who will also be going to The University of Kent to study Health & Social Care and Jhanu Thavakuhananthan who will be studying Accounting at Roehampton.

Headteacher Chris Foreman commented “I am pleased that so many students have been able to pursue their areas of interest at degree level. The Lenham School is focused on providing personalised pathways for all our students along with high quality teaching and support. All of our students are now able to continue their chosen pathways in further education or employment".
