Our Prefect Team

Katie harrisKatie Harris - Head Girl

Since joining the Lenham School six years ago, I have been encouraged every day to achieve my full potential, in and out of my lessons. The role of Head Girl enables me to make a difference and give the students a voice. I am constantly involved in school productions and events such as Parents Evenings and Open Evenings as well as taking part in reading sessions with the lower school students.

There is a strong and supportive relationship between teachers and students to create a suitable environment for the students to get the most out of all of their lessons. I am delighted to be appointed Head Girl as it gives me a chance to give something back to the teachers who have helped me become the person I am today.

Kai rileyKai Riley - Head Boy

The Lenham School is a friendly, welcoming community where students are always supported and encouraged to do the best they can to reach their full potential. The staff team are always friendly, supportive and engaging towards the students. I decided to continue my journey at The Lenham School at the end of Year 11, becoming a part of the sixth form where I have enjoyed every day since.

Now being here for my sixth year, I have taken the opportunity to support the students as Head Boy. So far in my role as Head Boy, I have participated in many school events that the school has offered e.g. organising events to raise money for Children In Need and speaking at the annual Awards Evening.

Amy georgeAmy George - Deputy Head Girl

The Lenham School is a community school with an amazing support network. Everyday I am encouraged to work as hard as possible and reach my full potential. Now being in my sixth year at the school becoming Deputy Head Girl gives me the opportunity to help other students and make a difference. Teachers and students work together to create an environment where anything is possible.

Helping at many events during my school time including open evenings, parent’s evenings and our transition days has been a fulfilling experience. As a prefect now peer mentoring students in year 7 to help them have a better school experience.

Darren LongDarren Long - Deputy Head Boy

The Lenham School has been extremely supportive of me during my time here, which is also true for many other students. This is now my sixth year as a student at this school, joining at the start of year seven, and now continuing into the sixth form where I am studying Business, Media and Sport.

I have enjoyed helping out with things like Open Evenings and Parent Evenings, helping set up the events and being a tour guide. Since my time here, l have also been a peer mentor teaching year sevens with their apple teaching.

I am very proud to be a member of the school community and feel that as Deputy Head Boy, I can give something positive back to the school that has helped me develop into a young adult.
